Bringing 29 years of parcel experience to the table, James is Lojistic’s Corporate Director of Parcel Negotiations. Acting as equal parts analyst, coach, and ghost writer, he has helped shippers reduce their carrier invoices by tens of millions of dollars since assuming the Director’s chair at Lojistic. His responsibilities include identifying and quantifying potential rate improvements in carrier agreements, developing negotiation strategies, quantifying proposed improvements, and crafting compelling talking points and communications for clients looking to improve their parcel contracts.
Prior to joining the Lojistic team, James enjoyed a successful 21-year career at UPS where he served in a variety of capacities in Finance, Sales, Business Planning, and Marketing functions. The culmination of which was a 5-year assignment as the Sr. Pricing Analyst in UPS’s largest district by revenue. While an Analyst James developed a process which allowed a contract to be modified without having to be recreated from scratch. This was adopted company-wide and remained in place for several years until such capabilities were incorporated into UPS’s pricing system.
James graduated from California State University Fullerton in 1991 with a BA in Management.
